About Wordle Hints Today
A daily companion for Wordle players who want a nudge, not a spoiler.
What this site does
Some days you need help with Wordle but you do not want the answer handed to you. That is exactly what this site is for. Each day we publish a fresh set of hints that start broad (part of speech, vowel count) and gradually get more specific (letter reveals, a meaning clue). Stop at whichever one gets you back on track.
The answer itself stays behind a separate reveal button. You will not see it by opening the page or scrolling past the hints.
Difficulty backed by player data
We also publish a daily difficulty report that shows how many guesses players needed on average, how results spread across each attempt, and how many ran out of tries. It also examines the word itself, so you can tell whether a repeated letter, an uncommon pattern, or too many close alternatives made the puzzle harder.
Practical Wordle tools
Beyond the daily hints, the site includes a few practical tools. The Wordle word list filters possible answers and accepted guesses by the green, yellow, and grey letters on your board. The past-answer archive lets you look up any previous puzzle by word, date, number, or difficulty. There are also strategy guides on things like choosing a starter word or working through a tough board.
How the hints are made
Every daily page is prepared in advance and checked against the official puzzle. Difficulty figures update throughout the day as more player results come in. If you spot something that looks off, please get in touch so we can correct it quickly.
Who runs it
Wordle Hints Today is built and maintained by a longtime word-game enthusiast and independent developer who also created Climble.org, a daily game where each round grows from a three-letter word to a five-letter word.
